What is the best cordless Drill is the question that was on my mind when I popped round to see my neighbor, the jobbing builder. Of course the first thing he asked was what I wanted it for, what sort of jobs etc.
The best drill to buy does depend on several things; how much you will use it, how heavy the work you want to do is, how strong or big are your hands. After all, if you are doing a lot of drilling work on an ongoing project you don’t want the tool to weigh too much and tire you out.
If you will have use for them, the combo sets are a good buy as they are matched items and the batteries are often interchangeable, so that if one is running out of charge, the battery from the second one can be used while it’s charging. A great advantage if you have just got into the swing of making something.
I like to try and get the best for the job without going overboard, and there are some things that you may only ever do once so it’s not worth buying until you are doing the job, but for general jobs around the house having the right tool to hand makes all the difference when you just want to get it done!
I have put this list together with the various users in mind and the quality of the items. They have all had great reviews by users so think about where you fit in and I hope you will find this list useful.
